The Review:
Proving that you cannot judge a book by it's cover, Three Palms Spiced rum exceeds itself.

Although it has an overall dominant aroma and taste of slightly artificial vanilla and wood, it's actually quite mellow and satisfying when mixed with coke.

On the rocks, it's pretty harsh and definitely not recommended, but at under a 10 spot, don't be embarrassed to grab this bottle as it's perfectly suitable for cheap mixed drinks at barbecues or the beach. Just don't make a habit of it.

Make no mistake about it - This is not a premium rum nor does it pretend to be.  Three Plams Spiced rum aims to be an outstanding and competitively priced mixing rum and that is where it excels.  For the price, I doubt its value could be beaten.

As a twist, I find that it works really well as an ingredient in food as well as in cocktails.  If you feel adventerous, try it smashed into sweet potatoes with brown sugar for a tasty and unique side dish.
